The Department of Chemical
Engineering, of the University
of Patras School of Engineering (DCEUP), was founded
in 1977. Its first undergraduate students were admitted in 1978 and graduated in 1983. Since its
foundation the department has been committed to teaching and research of international
standards.
DCEUP
currently has 28 faculty members who supervise
the research of about 90 postgraduate students and about 15 postdoctoral workers with an annual output of more than 50 refereed publications in international journals.
DCEUP
is housed in a new 5000 m2 building
