1. Analytical model-predictive control of nonlinear processes, with application to polymerization reactor control

2. Adaptive and set-based control of uncertain dynamic systems, with application to pH control

3. Nonlinear state estimation

4. Parallel algorithms for dynamic simulation and state estimation in large-scale systems

5. Periodic optimal control, with application to control of chemical reactions on catalytic surfaces.
