The Department of Chemical Engineering of the University of Patras has been honored of organizing the 10th Pan-Hellenic Scientific Conference (10th ΠΕΣΧΜ), which was held in Patras, Greece from June 4 to June 6, 2015. The conference was co-organized by the Institute of Chemical Engineering Sciences (ICE-HT) of the Foundation for Research and Technology (FORTH) Greece, while all the Greek academic and research units active in this field also participated in the Organizing Committee.
The series of Pan-Hellenic Chemical Engineering Conferences held since 1997 in Patras, Thessaloniki and Athens, under the responsibility of the respective Academic Departments and relevant Research Institutions. A community of great professionals with many scientific distinctions around the world participates in these conferences and made Chemical Engineering, the leading among all the scientific fields in Greece according to a recent report by RAND Corporation for the GreekMinistry of Education.
