The Department of Chemical Engineering of the University of Patras is pleased to announce the launch of an educational collaboration with the Department of Chemical Engineering at Imperial College London, one of the leading Chemical Engineering departments worldwide.

Within the framework of this agreement, students of the Department of Chemical Engineering at the University of Patras will have the opportunity, within five years, to obtain the Diploma in Chemical Engineering from the University of Patras and a postgraduate degree from Imperial College London through an innovative 4+1 study programme.

According to the terms of the collaboration, students who successfully complete the first four years of studies at the Department of Chemical Engineering of the University of Patras will be academically recognised as equivalent to graduates of the corresponding programme at Imperial College London and will therefore be eligible to apply for admission to Imperial’s postgraduate programmes.

The programme will be financially supported by the Research Committee (MODY ELKE) of the University of Patras.

The Department of Chemical Engineering expresses its sincere gratitude to the Administration of the University of Patras — the Rector, Professor Christos Bouras, and the Vice-Rector for Strategic Internationalisation and Extroversion, Professor Dionissios Mantzavinos — as well as to Emeritus Professor and Academic Ambassador of the University of Patras, Professor Athanasios Skodras, for their valuable support and guidance throughout the preparation of this programme.
