Abstract (Περίληψη)

A key part of this work is the designing and constructing of an electronic set-up with an adjusted software program in order, firstly to detect and record the induced signal and finally to product hysteresis loops of ferromagnetic materials, standards (pure iron Fe, pure nickel Ni) or not, which they are magnetic forced by an alternating field in different frequencies. The purpose of this part is to evaluate the results and by this to determine the value of the set-up for further use.

After all, this set-up will be used as a detection device of the changes at magnetic values of an magnetoelastic sensor (metglas) in close contact with an aluminum beam which is mechanical forced under pure bending. The objective of this part is to evaluate the valid of those magnetic values and matching them with the flexural behavior of the beam in real time conditions.
