In the conference of Viscoelastic Fluids held in Banff, Canada from 25th until 30th of October 2015 entitled “Viscoelastic Fluids: From Theory to Application” Professor John Tsamopoulos of Chemical Engineering Department, University of Patras received the Bingham Fluid Medal Award
This prize is awarded to researchers every two years as a recognition of their contribution in the field of complex and biological fluids which exhibit visco-plastic behavior. The previous ceremony took place on November of 2013 in Reuil-Malmaison, Paris and the award was given to the Professor Ian Wilson from the University of Cambridge.
