Hydrogen refueling infrastructures with on-site production from renewable sources are an interesting solution for assuring green hydrogen with zero CO2 emissions. The main problem of these stations development is the hydrogen cost that depends on both the plant size (hydrogen production capacity) and on the renewable source. In this study, a techno-economic assessment of on-site hydrogen refueling stations (HRS), based on grid-connected PV plants or wind farms integrated with electrolysis units, will be performed.
